A guide to your Jayco RV: How to use the Lippert control panel

21st Oct 2021

The control panel is the heart of your vehicle.

It’s where you can operate all the features and functions available in your RV.

Our Silverline caravan range is fitted with the Lippert control panel.

This advanced and easy-to-use device allows you to control your lights, water pump, hot water service, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) and more.

It’s equipped with everything you need to make your adventure easy and enjoyable.

In the following video, Chris will be demonstrating how to use the Lippert control panel fitted in a Silverline Outback caravan.

These instructions are applicable to all Silverline caravans.

Step-by-step guide to using the Lippert control panel:

Step 1

Locate your control panel and get familiar with the setup.

A range of information will be displayed on the screen.

Step 2

The ‘power’ button on the left is the battery switch.

This is the main isolating switch to turn your battery off.

You can also use this button to isolate your entire van.

Step 3

The lighting inside your van is split into 3 zones, indicated by the numbered lightbulbs.

These are responsible for the front, rear and external lights in your RV.

Step 4

On the right, you will find the solar, AC Mains and Auxiliary input options.

Step 5

The battery capacity is shown underneath the power input selection.

In this example, the control panel specifies that there is only 3.43 hours of battery capacity.

Once this is full, the bars will turn green.

Step 7

On the bottom left, you can see the slide out controls with the options ‘out’ and ‘in’.

Step 8

To turn on your hot water, select the water drop icon with the ‘H’.

Step 9

To turn on your water pump, select the water drop icon with a ‘P’ in it.

Step 10

On the bottom right, you will see the battery state, outputs and voltage displayed.

Step 11

For those who don’t like having bright screens at night time, the night mode button on the bottom right corner allows you to turn the screen off.

Step 12

The sensors page allows you to add a TPMS or conduct a bottle check on your gas bottles.

Step 13

The TPMS system is connected to your Tire Linc, which is a standard inclusion on the Silverline range.

When it’s paired, your screen will display the psi of every tyre around the van.

You could also add your spare wheel into this.
